No idea, you'll need to ask the MC2XML folks.

You may want to try the XMLTV grabbers to see if they have the image URLs you're looking for.

A second XMLTV grabber for the SD-JSON service has been added. tv_grab_zz_sdjson_sqlite. It's very fast.

Both tv_grab_sd_json (soon to be renamed tv_grab_zz_sdjson) and tv_grab_zz_sdjson_sqlite are in the Windows Alpha-exe http://alpha-exe.xmltv.org

Definitely makes it time for me to update my Mythbuntu 12.04 to 14.04 or 16.04 soon.

Is there a way (I am using this in windows) to redirect where it wants to put the .xmltv folder?
Thanks

sure... I think you can do ( if this doesn't work, let me know and I'll actually look into it)
set HOME=path/you/want
xmltv.exe ....

What I do.. (lots of different config files)
xmltv.exe tv_grab_whatever --config-file=path/to/config.dat
