How can I view what XML ID's belong to which channels?

Postby JohnLBergqvist » Tue Jun 07, 2016 1:56 pm

No matter which XMLTV ID format I use when configuring my config file, I get the same format of id's, a 5-char long numeric string. Is there a easy way I can view what actual channels each ID relates to, so that I can map that ID to that channel in my database? (MythTV)? Ideally if this could also show me which lineups each channel belongs to that would be good too - if there's a channel available that's not in the line-up i've chosen.

I have documented a process in the MythTV wiki:
https://www.mythtv.org/wiki/XMLTV#Sched ... rect_Setup
It is not the easiest process but gives good results.

If you just want to view the lineups, channels, and station IDs, you could use EPG123 from http://epg123.garyan2.net. Quick and simple.
